SEASIDE GARLANDS by Hannah Postlethwaite

Quirky garlands celebrating Morecambe's coastal culture, complete with seagulls, fish and shrimp!

For this activity you will need:

  • PVA glue & spatula/brush

  • Sharp pencil/sharpener

  • Scissors

  • Cardboard boxes/strong card 

  • String / Wire

  • Ribbon (slightly longer than width of your window)

  • Pipe cleaners/raffia/wire/felt strands/straws

  • Scrap paper

  • Paints/pens

  • Old sweet foils/silver foil

  • Stickers

  • Washi tape

  • Beads/bottle tops

  • Loo rolls

  • Old cotton reels
    * We have also made templates for the seaside garland shapes that you can print out to use if you would like to.
